No! I didn't know you could do that. Now I need to do another run through lol.
There aren't words for how happy I was when Tales of Monkey Island came out and all the Murray references they had. Damn Lucas Arts for not letting TellTale do a sequel. Hopefully now Disney is running the show there'll be a second run - I have so many unanswered questions. Also I'm kinda hoping they don't let Ron Gilbert re-quire the rights to make his unmade sequel, because there will be no murray in sight.
Wait, lucasarts wouldn't let Telltale do a sequel?! Oh well, I guess now they can, because lucasarts is gone. I mean seriously, what were lucasarts thinking doing only star wars games?! Sure it's a good franchise, but you need to focus on just more than one thing if you want to be a good business. It was the best in the late 80's and the 90's and then they cancelled a Sam and Max game to make a frikin' STAR WARS game. And then they made nothing but star wars games until their demise. Oh George Lucas... why? I guess money. XD (Sorry about the rant... XD)
Actually, I wonder if Telltale Games will be able to do another monkey island game or not? I really hope so... And I'm really sorry, but which one was Ron Gilbert again?
Yeah, they were like, "Nah - we're not gonna let you have the license, we're not fond of money, we're only interested in making Star Wars games" Lucasarts were weird.
The worst thing about that Sam & Max game they cancelled was that it was like 90% complete. Honestly thank god for Telltale and resurrecting the adventure game.
Ron Gilbert was the dude who invented Maniac Mansion, Day of the Tentacle, Monkey Island. He did the first two games but wasn't a part of the 3rd Monkey - he had his own sequel planned, the purists say that the only true Monkey games are the first two. If he did reacquire the rights and made another Monkey game, it would be like an alternative 3rd game - so no Murray
